Compare Options

Compare Options visual guide
Comparison framework

Compare options without getting overwhelmed.

A simple framework so plans stop blurring together — and a side-by-side worksheet to use with any plan.

Four trade-offs that actually matter

  1. Premium vs. out-of-pocket. Lower-premium plans usually cost more when you use them.
  2. Network freedom vs. cost. Wide networks cost more; narrow networks save money but limit choice.
  3. Extras vs. predictability. Bundled "extras" sound good but vary widely; Supplements pay claims uniformly.
  4. Drug coverage now vs. later. Skipping drug coverage today can cost you a permanent penalty later.
